Deep Fascia- dense irregular connective tissue that surrounds the entire muscle or group of muscles to hold it together.
ways to remember...dense means deep and fascia sounds like fasten which is like fastening your seat belt which is hold you together in a car.
Epimysium- connective tissue wrap just under the deep fascia that surrounds the entire muscle.
ways to remember...the E in Epimysium comes after the D in Deep fascia and in the word EPI there is and I and in the word FASCIA there is an I so you can remember epimysium is just under the deep fascia.
Perimysium- each of the fasicles surrounded by its own connective cover.
ways to remember...perimysium is the only one that is surrounded by the faSicle and P in perimysium comes before(surrounds) S in fasicle.
Endomysium- connective tissue wrap around each individual muscle fiber(cell).
ways to remember...endo spelt backwards is one with a d in it which makes you think of individual and the o and the ne are wraped around the d.
Tendon- the epimysium, perimysium and endomysium all join together at the two ends of the muscle and attach the muscle to the bone.
ways to remember...tendon has ten in it which is a high number(when thinking of numbers 1-10) and 1-10 has all numbers and tendon as all connective tissues in it. also tENDon has end in it and all the connective tissues for at the ends of the muscle and bones.
